The Romans Road Map
In Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, he opens up the 15th chapter reminding the church of the gospel on which we all stand. Paul goes on to say that we are saved by this gospel of Jesus Christ if we hold firmly to the Word of God, otherwise, we believe in vain. It's not enough to know who Jesus is and what He does. Even the demons know that. But, knowledge alone is not enough to save. We must step beyond knowledge and receive Christ into our hearts in faith that He will forgive us and reconcile us to God.
For that reason, I pulled out the map of the Roman's Road to remind myself of this gospel on which I take my stand. Remembering and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ is no harder than simply following this map, which is the Word of God. To think we need some great skill at speaking is to minimize the work of the Holy Spirit. We are simply to lift up Jesus and He draws all people to Himself. With that in mind, I encourage you to get out your map and be reminded of the gospel on which we stand. On this we may be prepared to give an answer as to why we believe and hold firmly to the Word of God.

Romans 10:9-10 - If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
